NoVA Outside is hiring an outreach and fundraising coordinator who will be hired on a part-time contractual basis from February through December with the possibility of extension. This position is anticipated to be 5 to 10 hours a week and the duties will be performed virtually with the exception of attending events and meetings. Salary range is $13 to $17 an hour.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Promotion and administration of social and professional development events.

  • Communication with members and partners including editing our monthly e-newsletter.

  • Contributing to fundraising activities including writing grants and soliciting corporate sponsors.

  • Updating NoVA Outside website.

  • Promoting NoVA Outside on social media.

  • Supporting the annual Student Environmental Action Showcase in April.

  • Organizing quarterly NoVA Outside leadership team meetings.

  • Coordination with NoVA Outside leadership team.
